'To be brushed for something' is a phrase made up by Cellve Rindini. It is used to describe whether someone was prepared to encounter a certain thing that day. The idea is that one would have already braced themselves for it while brushing their hair in the morning. (Ex.: "I wasn't brushed to be arrested!" / "I'm brushed for a fight today.")
